Installation Manager (Aluminium)

We are delighted to be working with and supporting a successful and expanding manufacturer and installer of high-end aluminium windows and bi-folding doors based in the Heathrow area who are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring their customers installations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, and that they receive the highest possible customer experience.

What the role will involve:

• A primary contact point for customers; updating them with project timelines, ensuring that they have a great installation and resolving any issues raised
• Primarily office based you will manage 7 fitting teams doing installations across the West London and South East area
• Occasional visits to site to ensure installation quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating to ensure that the right materials and manpower are at the right place and at the right time
• Managing the performance of the installation teams, attracting additional fitters if required
• Identifying team development needs and introducing appropriate interventions
• Continually ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to
• Link in with the production team to help ensure products are manufactured on time to needs, and to the high quality standards

Skills & Experience:

• Must have substantial experience of being in a n Installation Manager role previously, and managing multiple fitting teams
• Specific experience of fitting Aluminium is highly desirable
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to ‘Right First Time’ and continuous improvement
• Ability to build rapport, positively manage the customer experience and find solutions
• Confident to make decisions based on a sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Valid UK driving License
