Technical Support

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We have a great opportunity for a window and door expert to join our client, an established fabricator and supplier of windows and doors, as a Technical Support Advisor.

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will help the business deliver a best in class technical support service to their customers.

Technical Support role:

• Responding to customer queries via e-mails and phone regarding product queries and any potential product technical issues
• Providing general technical assistance for all internal departments
• Supporting any new projects of a technical, sales specification or systems nature
• Creating CAD drawings for shaped and arched frames.
• Occasionally attending site visits where necessary to find root cause, and to fix issues

Skills & Experience:

• Window and door product knowledge/ experience is essential – be it through fabricating, fitting, sales etc.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software and MS office is essential
• Experience with Window Designer, First-Degree Systems or similar is an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
• The successful candidate will be organised, detailed & observant in approach, and have a solutions approach to issues
• Willing to under take further training as required

Package:

The role is offered with a package of £28-32k DOE with 5 weeks annual leave plus statutory leave. Working hours are 08.30-17.00 Monday to Thursday, with a 3PM finish on Fridays.
