Production Shift Manager

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the fenestration sector. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Manager on behalf of an established and successful manufacturer and supplier of windows, doors and conservatories across the UK. 

Production Manager role:

• To oversee a production team of  circa 15 window fabricators, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are achieved 
• Attend daily production & handover meetings, escalating any urgent orders if required 
• Planning schedules and reporting achievements / outputs and any deviation
• H&S management, ensuring that the team are working safely and in line with SOPs
• Staff training, staff performance reviews and managing any staffing issues

Skills & Experience:

• Previous Production Management / Supervisory experience specifically within the upvc Window sector is essential 
• Excellent decision-making, problem solving, prioritisation and organisational skills
• Strong people, communication, motivation and leadership skills
• Computer literate – Microsoft Office

Package:

• £35-45k DOE 
• Private Medical scheme
