Trade Counter Driver / Warehouse

MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the UK Window, Door & Building Plastics sector. We are recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Person to join a new trade branch based in Leigh.  Our client is an independently opwned multi site business supply a wide range of window, doors, building plastics and roofing products to trade.  

Driver / Warehouse role:

• Reporting to the Branch Manager and as part of a small team you will support trade customers and deliver a great service
• Your main role will be to look after the goods in/out in the trade branch warehouse
• Keep the warehouse organised and tidy, load the vans with stock 
• Delivery drive a 3.5t van to customer sites across the region 
• You will also be trained up to support on the trade counter as required, answrring queries, taking orders and payments.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience within a trade counter branch environment is essential 
• Excellent customer service and people skills - able to get on well with trade customers and colleagues
• Proactive, able to work using initiaitve and a detailed approach 
• Experience of driving 3.5t vans and loading/unloading - some heavy lifting will be involved 
• Confident IT user, to look up customer details, and comfortable using the telephone
• Over 25 for van insurance purposes 

The Package:

• Basic £24,950 
• Monday to Friday and Sat AM on a 3 week rota
