Business Development Manager
Established for over 20 years our client are a manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors to trade and also to window fabricators. With multiple factories and solid performance and good customer retention, they are a recognisable and respected brand name within the sector.
Building on their success our client is looking to expand their external sales team with the appointment of an additional Business Development Manager to develop relationships and sales within the Northern region, covering the North Yorkshire to Scotland region.
As the Sales Manager for your region your primary role will be to build relationships with potential trade customers, understand their needs, present solutions and onboard new customers. You will also look to increase sales opportunities with existing customers where possible. The role is a field based sales role, anticipated to likely be 4 days a week as a minimum in the field.
Skills & Experience:
- A successful track record of field based Sales experience within the fenestration / window & door supply sector is essential
- Experience gained with a fenestration manufacturer is an advantage
- Great people and communication skills
- The successful candidate will be organised, self-motivated and have the natural sales ability to identify and close sales opportunities
- Valid driving licence
Package:
- The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with skills, experience and ability - anticipated basic of £45-55k DOE plus a bonus scheme of up to £24k on top
