Factory Manager - window fabrication

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for an experienced Factory Manager or Production Manager to join a successful fenestration fabrication company based near the Deeside area.  

The role:

Reporting to Production Director this is a senior level role where you will oversee and manage a production team of around 40 employees that fabricate approx 700 window / door units a week. Leading the fabrication operations you will ensure that the team meet production volumes on time, in full and to high quality standards, that the working environment is health and safety compliant for the workforce at all times, and to upskill, inspire and lead the team.

Skills and Experience:

• Significant Senior Production Management / Factory Management experience specifically within the windows and door production sector is essential
• Strong people and management skills – with the gravitas to lead the team to achieve
• Analytical in approach, with a data driven approach to developing improvement strategies
• Excellent organisational and problem solving skills and self motivated in approach
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing is an advantage

 Salary circa £50k DOE.
