Assistant Manager - upvc Windows

Our client, a specialist supplier of upvc and aluminium windows & doors, have a great opportunity for an individual to join as Assistant Manager to help lead their new trade counter branch opening soon in West Drayton. The company is an established and successful multi location business. 

In our opinion this is a great opportunity for an experienced Trade Counter Assistant or Supervisor with window processing experience looking for a career step!

Assistant Manager role:

• Working closely with the Branch Manager and part of a small team this is a hands on role where you will help ensure that the day to day branch operations are completed to standard, and that branch targets are achieve
• Build customer relationships, answering queries, and to process quotes and orders using a window designer style system
• As part of a small branch team you will help out with the branch operations as required - take payments, chase up quotes, goods in/out and occasional delivery driving if required
• Deputise in the Managers absence - open/close the branch, banking and reporting figures etc

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience /knowledge of windows and doors is essential 
• Supervisory experience is an advantage - however this could be a great opportunity for career progression for an experienced branch assistant/ trade counter assistant 
• Great people skills are essential - the ability to connect well with your trade customers 
• A hands on approach to help out with all of the branch operations 
• The drive and ability to ensure branch standards and targets are consistently achieved 
• A valid driving licence
